Re-make the S-bahn – refurnish a wagon to a living room – a friendly action supporting ideas of free public transport.

Bring what you think belongs in your living room.
A few suggestions: carpets, plants, pictures, curtains, cushions, knitting equipment, musical intsruments… and ducktape and strings to attach items.
Invite friends, spread the word and do not be afraid to show up to support the action, also if you did not have the time to bring anything else than yourself!

Dear commuters and public transport users! On the 5th of March the Free Public Transport Day will be celebrated for the fourth time. In Sweden there are already actions, rallies, parties and lectures planned for that day! We hope that you will join us in making this day a truly worldwide event and celebration. If you’ve got something planned for the day, please mail the information to info@freepublictransports.com and we’ll post it to freepublictransportday.com, and if there’s nothing planned in your city, consider doing something yourself! Arrange a ticket swap, write a letter to the editor, put up stickers or hand out flyers or arrange a party!

The Syndicalist Youth Federation in Uppsala will participate in FPT-Day by publishing instructions in how to make your own SMS-tickets. They see this as a small step forward in the struggle against capitalism and the fare-society that is associated with it
